Terms of Service

Effective July 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of the NameVenn beta. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app.

The service

NameVenn helps people discover and discuss baby names. Meanings, origins, pronunciations, popularity, recommendations, and compatibility information are informational and may contain errors. You remain responsible for your naming decisions.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not misuse invitations, submit abusive or unlawful content, interfere with the service, attempt to access another person’s private ratings, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

Partner connections

Connecting shares mutual matches, shortlist activity, and other expressly shared outcomes with that partner. You may disconnect in the app. Disconnection removes the shared workspace but does not expose either person’s private ratings.

Purchases

The one-time couple unlock is sold through Apple and is subject to Apple’s purchase and refund terms. The current localized price is shown by the App Store before purchase. Restore Purchases is available in the app. A couple entitlement depends on a valid, non-revoked Apple transaction and an active partner connection.

Availability and termination

A beta service may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We may suspend access needed to protect users or the service from abuse. You may stop using NameVenn and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
